A leading company in the defense sector is looking for a Software Developer – Hardware Integration & Data Systems

Location: Har Hotzvim, Jerusalem

Position Type: Full-time

About the Role:
Condor Pacific is seeking a Software Developer to join our engineering team. We develop software that connects directly with machines, sensors, and data acquisition systems, bridging the gap between hardware and software.
Working closely with a small team of engineers, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects and contribute across the full technology stack.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Python applications, APIs, and user-facing tools.
• Build dashboards and visualization tools for machine and sensor data.
• Integrate software with hardware platforms and communication protocols (Serial, TCP/IP, UDP).
• Design and manage databases using PostgreSQL and SQLite.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and support.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware integration challenges.

Requirements:
• 3+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Experience with REST APIs and SQL databases.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and/or SQLite.
• Experience working in Windows environments.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Advantages
• Experience with sensors, robotics, embedded systems, or industrial automation.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, CAN Bus, Modbus, or MQTT.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
